Booking

  • The primary renter must be at least 25 years old and must stay at the property for the entire reservation.
  • A 50% deposit is due at booking. Reservations made within 30 days of arrival require payment in full.
  • After booking, you will receive a Rental Agreement for review and signature. Your reservation is not finalized until the signed agreement is returned within 7 days.
  • Please review the cancellation policy in the Rental Agreement before booking.
  • Parties, events, and group bookings are strictly prohibited. This includes weddings, receptions, student organizations, graduation or spring break groups, and chaperoned or unchaperoned groups.
  • Travel insurance is not provided by Vacation OIB but is strongly recommended, especially during hurricane season.

During Your Stay

  • No pets are permitted.
  • No smoking or tobacco use of any kind is permitted inside or around the home, including cigarettes, cigars, and pipes.
  • Please report any existing damage or malfunctioning equipment as soon as you arrive.
  • Carefully review the elevator instructions in the House Manual before use. Guests under 18 may not operate the elevator.
  • Beginning March 1, 2027, Vacation OIB Arrival Ready provides commercially laundered bed linens, beds made before arrival, bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, and bath mats, along with starter bathroom, household, and coffee supplies.

Departure

Before leaving, please:

  • Remove all personal belongings.
  • Return furniture to its original location.
  • Turn off all lights.
  • Load and start the dishwasher.
  • Leave the home clean and orderly.
  • Take all trash outside and move trash cans to the curb as directed.
  • Leave used linens and towels according to the Arrival Ready departure instructions. We handle removal and laundering after your stay.

Security Deposit & Additional Charges

The owner reserves the right to deduct applicable charges from the security deposit for:

  • Damage or excessive cleaning beyond normal use: $50 per hour.
  • Violations of house rules, including pets, parties, or prohibited events.
  • Late departure: $400.
  • Service calls, including elevator or home-related calls caused by guest carelessness, negligence, or misuse: $225 plus the cost of any necessary repairs.

The security deposit will be returned within 30 days of departure, less any applicable charges.
